We recently supplied and installed a brand new composite door with glazed side windows at a residential block in Bournemouth that had these exact requirements.
The new door is an attractive bold colour and features a patterned double glazed window which brings real character to the property as well as allowing plenty of light to spill into the communal area. The new side windows bring even more light into the building whilst complementing the appearance of the door perfectly. As they are double glazed they also help to keep the heat inside on those cold days.
To deliver a high level of security the door is fitted with an electronic latch release which has been connected to the existing entry system. This allows residents to control who is entering the building as visitors must use the intercom system before they are permitted entry. To further enhance security the door also features an automatic closer which enables the door to close and lock itself after use. A 15mm aluminium disabled access threshold was fitted to ensure easy access for wheelchair users.
